Thank you for considering a gift to Anglican Aid’s End of Financial Year Appeal.

Anglican Aid provides financial support to over 100 projects. Your support goes directly to these projects and makes a difference day by day, community by community, life by life.

Each day women caught in prostitution in Johannesburg are cared for and offered a way out by Bubbly and her team. Each day, Syrian refugees in Jordan are being taught carpentry skills so that they can support their families. Abandoned and disabled children in China are given a home where they are cherished. Each day, children in Zambia’s Copperbelt District who would otherwise have no access to education have a place in a school where they are taught and loved. Women in Ethiopia are taught hygiene skills to keep their families safe from disease. Each day, victims of domestic violence in Bangalore can seek refuge at the safe house there.

In our own community, your support goes to projects run by local churches in socially disadvantaged communities. In Mt Druitt, Anglican Aid supports a youth worker to engage with young people in the area. In Glebe, the Scarred Tree project seeks to bring healing and restoration in practical ways to Indigenous Australians who have been scarred by trauma, exclusion and injustice. Through the work of Jesus Club (pictured above), people with an intellectual disability have the opportunity to meet together, make friends, have fun and learn about Jesus.

In so many ways, your support makes a real difference in the lives of people in need.

Whenever Jesus met the poor and marginalised in his society he treated them with dignity and love. We are called to do the same. Please give generously to this appeal so that the work of our partners in Australia and abroad can continue.
