Anglican Aid is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high level administrative support to the CEO, some executive support to the Senior Staff team, and arrange travel for our staff.
Reporting to the CEO, this role will suit a committed evangelical Christian, eager to contribute to the CEO’s and Senior Staff team’s efficiency at work.
Anglican Aid is the overseas aid and ministry support agency of Sydney Anglicans, in partnership with the global church.
This is a full time role based in our Sydney CBD offices, with opportunity for flexible work arrangements.
This varied role will encompass:
- Ensuring the CEO is free to focus on leading the team by minimising and streamlining administrative work wherever possible;
- Pro-actively managing the CEO’s diary including scheduling appointments, meetings, and managing competing priorities and invitations;
- Preparing and coordinating responses to correspondence and emails on behalf of the CEO;
- Supporting the efficient and effective work patterns of the CEO in a context of competing and rapidly changing priorities;
- Enabling the CEO’s communication and engagement with international and domestic stakeholders, and the internal Senior Staff team;
- Coordinating occasional events for donors
- Organising international and domestic travel for all staff;
- Managing and acquitting the CEO’s expenses;
- Ensuring a well organised office working environment for the CEO.
We are seeking a team member with the following skills and attributes:
- An evangelical Christian, committed to the mission, vision, and values of Anglican Aid;
- Proven experience supporting a CEO and senior executives in professional environments;
- Confident and sensitive working in cross cultural contexts with culturally diverse partners and stakeholders.
- Adept at liaising with senior stakeholders, including clergy, funders and international guests;
- Applies discretion and judgement in communications and interactions internally and externally;
- Articulate and professional communicator;
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
