Alexandria Maternal and Child Health

The Alexandria Maternal and Child Health progam is operated and implemented by Refuge Egypt, Anglican Aid's partner in Alexandria. This program provides prenatal care for women and care for children suffering malnutrition and other medical problems in Alexandria. Many refugees struggle to find affordable medical treatment in Egypt. Alexandria Maternal and Child Health program provides affordable medical attention to some of the most vulnerable refugees: pregnant women and children. The clinic also provides food and nutrition supplements for pregnant women and infant children, many how have suffered malnutrition during their flee from conflict.
