This project is helping care for people as they begin a new life in Brazil. This includes:
- The provision of accommodation and daily necessities like food and clothing.
- Many are being provided with trauma counseling after they have lost their loved ones, and have family members who remain in Afghanistan.
- Local language classes, as they begin to learn Portuguese.
- Schooling for children and short vocational education courses for the adults.
- Ongoing pastoral care through the local church.
As well as caring for the physical needs of those who are fleeing the country, Anglican Aid is also providing secure audio Bible players to Afghan Christians. These will help to relieve some of the distress of persecuted Christians by hearing the hope of the gospel. 1000 secure audio Bibles will be distributed to Afghan believers, with the Bible recorded in their local language.
Please pray for Afghan Christian families as they settle into life in Brazil, that they will be comforted through the hope of knowing Jesus.

In the case that a fundraising appeal has received sufficient donations, any surplus funds will be used for a similar activity or an activity in the same country.
