Fairfield also runs tourist activities and a guesthouse alongside the cafe. Unfortunately, these activities have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the business operating at a loss during 2020, and 2021. The hope is that tourists will return and help with their financial recovery. 

Now, the Cafe needs to replace its aging domestic equipment to increase the productivity and efficiency of the cafe. On peak days 400 meals are served to cafe guests but the kitchen has not been upgraded to keep up with the cafe’s growth. These upgrades will also help to make the environment safer for the kitchen team at Fairfield. 

Many of those involved in the project are members of the local church and will receive income from the project. Please pray that Fairfield Guesthouse and Bakery will be able to continue supporting members of the local church and the broader community and that Jesus’ love will be spread in Mongolia.
