P1: Design of Hope Motlehope Student Centre for George Whitefield College
Africa needs strong leaders to solve the issues facing this diverse and complex continent.
George Whitefield College, based in Cape Town, South Africa, has trained African church and community leaders for the past 27 years. The College had far outgrown its current infrastructure. If it is to continue to grow and expand its role as a high quality Reformed Anglican Theological College, it needs new and improved infrastructure.
The Hope Motlehope Student Centre, named to commemorate a student who died in 2011 after drowning whilst attempting to rescue a friend, includes:
- Accommodation for 56 students
- A dining facility large enough to accomodate the whole College (including future increases in student size)
- Underground parking (currently parking availability is a major challenge)
- Social spaces to facilitate community-building
Anglican Aid is partnering with George Whitefiled College to train Africa's future leaders. Please consider a tax deductible donation to support the work of George Whitefield College and let grace flow to the churches in Africa.
All donations to this project are tax deductible.
