St Andrew’s School is situated in Hyderabad, India. It is in the midst of slums within the centre of the city where there is an average of 11 people living in a 1 to 2 room dwelling. St Andrew’s School is the only educational facility for the children of these slums. No intervention, no orphan support and no medical assistance would otherwise exist.
Anglican Aid issupporting St Andrew’s School as it seeks to purchase land and commence a separate college for years 11 and 12 so that students can graduate to university. Anglican Aid has also supported St Andrew’s School in the purchase of a bus to aid the safe transportation of it's students, particularly young girls, to and from school.
