St Francis of Assisi Theological College

Anglican Aid supports St Francis of Assisi Theological College in the Diocese of Kaduna, Nigeria, through the provision of 40 bursaries for students.

The college is located on the outskirts of the city Zaria in northern Nigeria. It trains Christians to work as local evangelists and rural pastors, to win northern Nigeria for Christ. In October 2016 the college celebrated its 50th anniversary.

The college community was devastated in late 2016 when three members (two staff and one student) were killed in a road accident. A number of other college members were critically injured in the accident.

Please pray for Bishop Praises Omole, Dean of St Francis, as he leads the community through this difficult time, and coordinates care for the widows and children of the men who were killed in the accident.
