    Madagascar PTC training

    Anglican Aid’s Overseas Ministry Fund provides financial support for students from developing countries to attend Bible training events like the Moore College’s Preliminary Theological Certificate (PTC) training events to be held in Madagascar. The PTC training offers an ideal resource for strengthening clergy competence and materials for training lay people leading their congregations.

    Once known as the ‘Land of Saints and Scholars’, Ireland is the least-evangelised English-speaking country in the world with an evangelical population of less than 1.5%. Irish Church Missions (ICM) is establishing a church in the ‘Silicon Docks’ area of Dublin City from late 2019.

    Sami Nagib’s life focus is to share Jesus' love with others, so that they can experience the change that he has experienced. In the years since his conversion to Christianity in 2010, God has led him to a fruitful ministry in Brazil where he works with religious refugees from Islamic nations. He also teaches English to Christian workers in Brazil who seek to take the gospel abroad. His understanding of Islam is critical in Brazil where the Islamic community is growing.

    The Seychelles, an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, has a reputation as a beautiful holiday destination. For the islands’ residents, life is not always so picturesque. Tourism has brought development and prosperity – but only for a few, and poverty is widespread. The last ordination of a minsters in the Diocese of Seychelles was in 2006 and there is a real need for more trained clergy to serve God and the church in the country.

    MOCLAM offers Spanish-language theological education by distance to students in 14 countries throughout Latin America and Spain, including two secure countries in the region. MOCLAM resources prepare pastors, church leaders and university staff workers for ministry.
