Anglican Aid activities include the Community Care Program which supports Anglican churches in Australia to undertake community based activities for vulnerable people in local communities and provides emergency funds for natural disasters. Gifts to this fund are tax deductible. Since July 2015, Anglican Aid provides support to overseas activities using a different criteria to Overseas Development. These activities include community based benevolent and welfare programs, school education, Christian leadership programs and emergency and relief programs.
The Overseas Ministry Fund provides assistance specifically to support the evangelistic activities of churches in developing countries through a variety of activities. Anglican Aid particularly focuses on supporting theological training and education. Gifts are not tax deductible.
Overseas Development projects operate in over 20 countries through Christian partners known to Anglican Aid. Anglican Aid responds to needs identified by our partners, thus ensuring local people identify their own development priorities. All gifts to this fund are tax deductible. Our overseas development projects are undertaken in partnership with Churches or Christian agencies in-country. No missionary or evangelistic activities are supported by this fund. Our overseas Development work is subject to the Australian Council for International Development Code of Conduct.
