Field Notes from Madagascar

We would love you to join us at a special event at St James Church, Croydon to hear from Anglican Aid’s long-term partner Rev Berthier Lainirina, Principal of St Patrick’s Theological College, Madagascar.
In Toliara in the south of Madagascar where Rev Berthier serves, local people have been battered by cyclones and suffered through severe drought and famine in recent years. Anglican Aid has partnered with the Anglican Church there to care for people in dire need and as the church has shown God’s love and proclaimed the gospel, many people have put their faith in Jesus.
At the Bible college that Anglican Aid has helped to build, Berthier is now equipping pastors for the many new churches that have been planted. He will share what it has been like providing aid alongside gospel ministry, serving a rapidly growing church in a desperately poor context.
You will also hear from Anglican Aid’s Team Leader for Aid & Development Cameron Jansen, and Theological Education Adviser Michael Charles. Cameron and Michael will share what they learned during their recent trips to Madagascar and about some new projects you can support there.
We’d love to see you at the event. There is no cost to attend but please register here. Feel free to bring friends.
If you have any problems registering, please email hello@anglicanaid.org.au or call on (02) 9284 1406.
