Anglican Aid’s 2025 Prayer Diary

“On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favour granted us in answer to the prayers of many.” 2 Corinthians 1: 10b, 11
Dear Friends,
When Paul wrote to brothers and sisters in the Corinthian church about the deadly opposition he had been facing, he said:
“On him [God] we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favour granted us in answer to the prayers of many.”
2 Corinthians 1: 10b, 11
Paul sets his hope on God for deliverance, knowing that he is being helped by the prayers of brothers and sisters far away. And he expects that as God graciously answers the prayers of many, many will also share in the joy of giving God thanks and praise.
Our partners are serving in the context of all kinds of difficulties – poverty, persecution, and war. They tell us they are deeply encouraged to know you are praying for them. When Jomo Nderitu from Marsabit, Kenya, sent prayer points for this year’s Prayer Diary, he said, “Your zeal in praying and connecting us with brothers and sisters who hold our hands and shoulder our burdens is very refreshing!”.
Our brothers and sisters know they are not on their own!
Our 2025 Anglican Aid Prayer Diary includes 31 days of prayer points for a range of partners providing emergency aid and relief, training of church leaders, food security, clean water, education, and more. It is our hope that all our partners will know they are not alone as they serve and as God graciously answers our prayers, many will give thanks and praise to him!
