DR Congo

As the rare strain of the Ebola virus emergency rapidly escalates in DR Congo, your prayer and gifts to the Emergency Relief fund will help Anglican dioceses and Life In Abundance, your partners on the ground, minister God’s compassion, and care. 

Here’s what Pastor Jean-Paul from Life In Abundance says: 

“I hope God continues showing his power among the Anglican Aid family members.  

“We are struggling to mobilise people for prevention, but we have problem of resources to enable us reaching the whole community. 

“Please, keep praying for us.” 

Your gift will be used to help teach people about hygiene and sanitation so they can prevent illness and the spread of the disease.

Lebanon

In Lebanon right now there are over one million people who have fled the conflict zone in south Lebanon and Beirut. Some have set up tents in the town where Anglican Aid’s long-term partners Reem and Emil Bourizk are located, in the north of the country.  They have asked for our help to provide these displaced people with practical help including mattresses, clothing, and food. 

Madagascar

In early February 2026, Cyclone Gezani made landfall in Madagascar — homes were torn apart and families were left with nothing. Our long-term partner Rev Berthier Lainirina is pictured below outside his parents’ destroyed home. With your help, Anglican Aid was able to send money to allow the Anglican Church in Madagascar to help families recover from this disaster.  

Along with Reem and Emil in Lebanon, our partners in Mozambique and Malawi are also asking for help to care for victims of flooding and in Burundi, Congolese refugees need help. With war and natural disasters taking place around the world, Anglican Aid’s Emergency Relief fund is empty – making it difficult for us to respond quickly to needs. Your generosity will ensure that Anglican Aid is well equipped to support our partners as they care for people in their time of need, without any delay.
