Fundraise for Anglican Aid

Let grace flow through your time and talents

Start a Fundraiser

Become a
community fundraiser

Use your time and talents to fundraise for Anglican Aid. It’s a powerful and personal way to let grace flow to a world in need.

Here are some suggestions of ways you could fundraise. But feel free to put a personal spin on things, as no two fundraisers are the same.

Do something active

Run a marathon or climb a mountain, and ask friends or family to sponsor you.

Team up

Start a fundraiser with your school, church, youth group, or colleagues.

Host an event

Bake cupcakes, run a car wash, or hold a trivia night.

Gifts in lieu

Ask friends and family to donate to Anglican Aid in lieu of a gift for your birthday, engagement or other milestone.

We’ll help you set up your online fundraising page. Then all that’s left is sharing your page with friends and family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where will the money I raise go?

Unless you choose to fundraise for a particular project (see below), we will direct your funds to Where Most Needed.

Yes! Please email enquiries@anglicanaid.org.au or ring us on 02 9284 1406 if you have a particular project in mind that you would like to support. We’ll make sure all funds you receive are directed there.

As well as a specific project, you can also fundraise for a broader project category:
•  Education Projects
•  Disability Inclusion Projects
•  Water and Sanitation Projects
•  ‘Ready to Respond’ Emergency Relief

At the moment, it’s not possible to set up an online fundraising page for Overseas Ministry projects. We’d encourage you to run an ‘offline’ fundraiser for this instead. Contact us on 02 9284 1406 or enquiries@anglicanaid.org.au for some ideas.

Yes, your friends will automatically receive a receipt from Anglican Aid after donating to your fundraising page. The receipt will be sent to the email address that the donation was made under. Tax-deductibility can be claimed for gifts of $2 or more.

This is simply a letter from Anglican Aid authorising you to collect donations on our behalf. Please email enquiries@anglicanaid.org.au if you have been told you require this for your fundraiser.
