Anglican Aid is the overseas aid, development and ministry support agency of Sydney Anglicans in partnership with the global church. 

We are seeking a Policy Writer to help us review, develop and revise Anglican Aid policies. 

• Sydney CBD location 

• 3 Days per week (3 Month Contract)  

• Not-for-profit salary packaging benefits available 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:  

• Supporting the operations of the organisation by reviewing and revising Anglican Aid policies, to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, incorporate best practice, and reflect organisational principles and values. 
• When required, contribute to the documentation of processes and procedures, and contribute to other policy and procedure related tasks as agreed with the Operations Manager. 

We are looking for a team member who can assist with development and review of policy, including:

• Review policies due for revision and draft updated policies. 

• Prepare updated policies for approval by the relevant board committee and the board. 

• Ensure policy document management, including version control, maintaining the policy register, and updating the policy review schedule.  

The successful candidate will be able to analyse, think critically, develop new options, and be able to promote the mission and values of Anglican Aid.
