Rebuilding priority schools

But, with help from people like you, the Diocese of Goma plans to repair six secondary schools and two primary schools across the diocese. All these schools are either damaged, under-funded, or neglected because of conflict. They have also been identified as priority schools as they are places where investment in their infrastructure will make the most difference.  

“We have witnessed time and again,” Bishop Martin Gordon shared with us, “that when the school building is improved, the teachers take more pride in their work, the parents start to send their children to school again, the children work better, and results improve.”
