Anglican Aid partners with Hope and Faith Christian Community School to provide quality education to vulnerable children and orphans. The school is in the middle of Ngombe, an impoverished squatter compound in Lusaka, Zambia’s capital city.

The school was founded by Rosemary Mumbi when she saw kids unable to go to school and instead playing on a street in the compound. Its vision is to give equal opportunities to all children who may not otherwise access education because of poverty and other reasons.

A number of students are from child-headed households, where both parents have passed away.

Since its beginnings in 2004, the school has grown from nursery to senior school, expanded from one to eighteen classrooms, been awarded with exam-centre status, and helped 650 students graduate from secondary school.
