The project aims to prepare young children for primary education. This is a glaring need. Walmer Township, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, is poor materially and dark spiritually. Quality Christian childhood facilities in this area are scarce to non existent. Few children are Biblically nourished at this critical stage of their development. Christian preschools and Evangelical churches are surely a dire need in this sprawling township.
The construction of this project has been approved by the local municipality, with the building operating as a preschool during the week and hosting church services on weekends.
