Welcome!

I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers”, wrote the Apostle Paul about the church in Ephesus (Eph 1:16). I feel just the same way when I think of your compassionate support for Anglican Aid. Thank you!

Anglican Aid is the overseas aid, development and ministry support agency of Sydney Anglicans, in partnership with the global church. We support over 140 projects in 39 countries which strengthen churches and transform communities in some of the neediest regions of our world. Thank you for partnering with us to see the grace of God overflowing to a world in need.

Our distinctives

We help those who are most in need

Anglican Aid prioritises working with the poorest of the poor, with people who face extreme hardship. Anglican Aid projects minister to those Jesus calls ‘the least of these brothers and sisters of mine.’

We work with local Christians

All gifts to Anglican Aid are sent in the name of Jesus, and distributed by faithful brothers and sisters who share Christ’s love as they provide aid and long-term development to their communities.

We are trustworthy

Anglican Aid is accredited by the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) and is a member of the Christian Ministry Advancement (CMA) Standards Council. Our finances are independently audited annually.

We take stewardship seriously

Last year, Anglican Aid spent 87% of overall donations on our overseas projects, and 13% on ensuring Anglican Aid meets the highest compliance and communications standards.

We are gospel-hearted

Anglican Aid was founded by Sydney Anglicans – beginning nearly a century ago with Archbishop Howard Mowll – and is staffed by people who profess an authentic faith in Christ.
