Lebanon: Joy amidst war

“Lord,” they prayed, “open a door for us so that we may plant something lasting in the lives of these people.”
This was the prayer that Pastor Emil and his wife Reem prayed as they entered a displaced persons camp in Lebanon. They were carrying school supplies.
And God answered their prayer! He led them to a teacher who was eager to start a school for children in the camp. With help from supporters like you, Emil and Reem are now providing all the supplies that are needed. The school has grown into two classes, with roughly 30 children in total, and more parents are requesting places for their children.
“We lift our eyes to the Lord in thanks,” Emil shared.

Pray that God will provide for the school as demand and excitement for it grows.
