South Africa: A home for Kevin

Project Manager Laura and the team at Intsika Community Projects first met four-year-old Kevin last year when he would wander the streets by himself. They welcomed him to Intsika and he was soon a regular presence. Whenever he spotted the white Intsika vehicle, he would run up to it with a huge smile because he knew he was always welcome.
Now, with your support, Kevin spends time at Intsika on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, enjoying food, doing craft, and playing with the other children. The Intsika team also provide him with clean clothes and wash his old ones before his next visit. Kevin has grown from a quiet child to one who chats with everyone. But, more importantly, “he is hearing about Jesus each week and experiencing the love of a community who knows him by name,” Laura shared.
