Kenya: Thank You! Dignity and Safety Restored for Morm

The project outlined below has been completed. Find out more about its impact on our Past Projects page.
When Morm and her children fled tribal conflict in Marsabit, northern Kenya, they found themselves in an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp. Their shelter was small, leaked, and gave no privacy.
However, with your support, the Diocese of Marsabit provided the family with roofing sheets, timber, nails and cement, as well as financial support. Morm now lives in a two-bedroom, weather-protected house.
“Having a home has restored our dignity and given us peace of mind,” she said. “My children can sleep safely, and we are finally rebuilding our lives again. I feel proud that we have a place we can truly call home. I sincerely thank everyone who was involved in changing our situation. May God bless you.”
Last year, 11 displaced families in Marsabit received building materials and financial support to construct roofing for permanent homes.
Thank you for praying and giving generously to see families cared for.
