Judith Calf, Head of Theological Education

Your prayers and gifts towards Anglican Aid’s theological education program are greatly valued! Thank you for helping to train pastors like Rev Charles (Diocese of Gitega, Burundi) who says, “To teach, you need to be taught.” I am so encouraged by messages I receive from our faithful supporters. A chat with Bruce who had given to help train 100 pastors showed his conviction on how important it is to have church leaders grounded in the scriptures. It’s particularly vital when they are in situations of war, conflict, and persecution. In a special note from another supporter, Kate shared that ‘women’s Bible training’ is top of her giving list.

Would you please pray for our many Bible college students who are now in their final semesters? They are preparing to transition from student to pastor. Many will be sent to serve in new church plants in remote areas. They will receive only minimal income, may have to rent a local house, usually without running water and electricity, and travel between congregations by foot or bicycle. Please pray for them to finish their studies well, trust in God for their future ministries, and persevere when ministry is hard and support far away.

Thank you for your faithful support and prayer to help train pastors and church leaders.
