Egypt: Growing deeper in God’s word

Marian has been a Christian since high school. When she enrolled in the Alexandria School of Theology (AST), she did so with the desire for a deeper understanding of God and his word. While studying theology and growing in her ministry skills, Marian has learnt to listen to the Holy Spirit when reading God’s word, rather than relying on her own interpretation. She has a deep desire to use this knowledge to help others hear, know, and love God more deeply.
“I want to live a Christian life that aligns with the Word of God and what I have learned, and I want to live the gift of teaching to build up the body of Christ, because I serve many different groups in ministry— children to the elderly—and my work is the same; I want to see people know Christ.”
For your prayers
Pray for a continued sense of zeal for God and his word among AST staff and students.
With your support through Anglican Aid, Alexandria School of Theology is training up Christians to serve in their churches. Your gift to the Global Anglican Communion Fund will help support theological training like this in our Global Anglican Communion.
If you don’t live in Australia, you can give to the Global Anglican Communion Fund at any time through Anglican Aid and TrustBridge. This giving option enables you to still make a tax-deductible donation, helping resource the Global Anglican Communion for Bible-centered ministry in the poorest nations.
