How does change happen?

In our sinful world, the question of ‘how can things ever change?’ can be overwhelming. But under God’s rule, his people, through gospel partnership, can help change hearts and change systems. This is why Anglican Aid is committed to long-term projects, in the poorest nations, with long-term partners in the Anglican church. With your support, communities are being transformed through aid and development projects, and churches are being strengthened through theological education.  

This is why we’re investing in places like South Sudan. In a country with a long history of conflict and injustice, the law school at The Episcopal University (TEU) is training Christian lawyers.  

“In building peace through justice,” vice chancellor Dr Eeva John says, “graduates will be builders of the kingdom of the Prince of Peace.” 

With your support, investment is also being made in Mozambique. I’m excited to share that one of our partners, the Most Reverend Vicente Msosa, Archbishop of Mozambique, will be visiting Sydney this September. You’ll be invited to events where you will hear more about how your support is strengthening the church in Mozambique and helping some of the poorest of the poor amidst persecution and entrenched corruption. I invite you to pray that this visit will deepen our partnership in the gospel, and lead to lasting transformation in Mozambique.
