Malawi: A new WASH project plans to benefit 40 households

With help from supporters like you, Anglican Aid is partnering with the Diocese of Southern Malawi to improve household sanitation in Douglas Village.

In Douglas Village, poorly built latrines are regularly destroyed by flooding. This heightens the risk of waterborne diseases, particularly affecting women, children, the elderly, and those living with a disability.

However, with your support, the Diocese of Southern Malawi will provide toilet slabs, bricks, cement, sanitation training, and hygiene education to 40 households in Douglas Village.

Building upon the previous installment of biosand filters, the Douglas Village Household Sanitation project will improve the health and dignity of participants. It will also help build capacity to withstand flooding.

For your prayers

Pray that the project will benefit participants for years to come.
