Important information about donations via direct bank transfer this EOFY

As this financial year draws to a close, please note this information regarding donations made via direct transfer* to Anglican Aid’s bank account:

If you intend to make a tax-deductible donation in the final days of June, you will need to provide a receipt or screenshot notification to hello@anglicanaid.org.au showing that your bank transfer was made prior to midnight, 30 June 2025 in order for it to be tax deductible in the 2024-2025 Financial Year.

It can sometimes take a few days for funds to reach our account once they have left yours. Without this notification, any funds that reach our account after midnight on 30 June will be tax-deductible in the 2026 Financial Year.

Here is a sample notice you can use. Please replace words inside the square brackets with your correct information, and don’t forget to attach the receipt or screenshot showing the date of transfer.

[Name of donor] transferred [$amount] to Anglican Aid for [Project/Appeal/Where Most Needed] on [Date].

We will need to receive this email by Friday 4 July 2025.

If you have any questions about this, please contact us on 02 9284 1406 or email hello@anglicanaid.org.au

Thank you for your generous support.

* e.g. a donation initiated from your banking app, internet banking portal, or online banking, directly to Anglican Aid’s bank account
