Getruda has completed her Bible training at Nyakato Bible School.

“I am serving God because I know where I came from,” said Getruda, a student from Nyakato Bible School.

Getruda reports that for a year while she was at secondary school, she suffered from demon possession that caused her to fall down unconscious. Her parents were not believers and took her to witch doctors seeking help. On the last occasion that she fell down, when her parents told her to go to the witch doctor, she refused and asked to go to the local church instead. There the pastor prayed for her, and she was healed and restored. “Since that day I haven’t fallen down again,” said Getruda. She and her parents put their faith in Jesus and their lives turned around. “I accepted Jesus as my personal saviour and responded to his call to serve him. I have dedicated to serve him all the days of my life. That’s why I am in the college today studying his word, so that I may serve him diligently.”
