ZIMBABWE: Training apprentices for ministry

In June this year, Ministry Apprentice Training (MAT) Zimbabwe held G8, a training conference that brought together 59 apprentices, trainers, and MAT stakeholders from Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Zambia. The conference was the first of its kind for MAT Zimbabwe, combining Bible talks with training seminars and opportunities for delegates to network with gospel peers.
Apprentice trainer, Tendai Chihaka, said the seminars addressed real challenges in training apprentices and encouraged him to keep the gospel central in training and raising the next generation of gospel workers.
He said, “Thank you, MAT Zimbabwe, for helping me slow down in my busy schedule to hear from God’s word, be refreshed and encouraged. I am already looking forward to G825!”
MAT Zimbabwe is supported in partnership with Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) in Australia and Anglican Aid.
Pray:
- Pray for God to equip more gospel workers through MAT Zimbabwe.
