There is a great need for well-trained leaders in the church in Mozambique. The new province, the Anglican Church of Mozambique and Angola, doesn’t have its own theological college, but they need to train their lay people and clergy. Without theological training, there is a lack of leaders who can serve with a sound, Biblical foundation.  

But, with the support of people like you, the Anglican Church of Mozambique and Angola has successfully implemented the teaching of the Moore College Preliminary Theological Certificate. It was rolled out in January, and, since then, 135 people participated in the program across 7 diocesan hubs in Mozambique, completing the first few modules. Now, churches have at least one extra member with Bible training. This reduces the workload of the minister and has motivated other church members to take part in the program.
