COVID-19 won’t stop our mission to let grace flow

Now, more than ever, we continue in our mission to let grace flow to vulnerable communities around the world.

Anglican Aid has personal relationships with project partners in places like Africa, South-East Asia, and the Middle East. I have emailed over 100 of our international partners to confirm that Anglican Aid will continue to support them in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your generosity has already allowed us to provide in-country partners with basic public health information such as measures to prevent spreading infections, so they can assist their communities. In areas like Ethiopia, Jordan, and Kenya, Anglican Aid supporters have contributed to wells and rainwater tanks, allowing these communities to wash their hands as recommended.

In Pakistan, our project partner Angela Michael is translating the information we provided into Urdu and planning education sessions to impoverished brick kiln slaves, as well as providing soap and sanitation facilities at the 15 communities which have water tanks installed.

Thank you for supporting the work of Anglican Aid. Your faithfulness in giving is now serving our brothers and sisters in ways we could not have predicted.

As conversations with project partners develop, we will be keeping you updated on their situation through our website and eNewsletter. Subscribe at www.anglicanaid.org.au/enews-subscribe

You can continue to donate through www.anglicanaid.org.au/support or 02 9284 1406. Our staff are ready to respond from home offices. You’ll receive the same care and attention as always (with possibly a little delay in postal communications!).

Please continue to uphold Anglican Aid’s project partners in prayer. We of course regularly pray and commit you, our supporters, to God with thanks.

If you have been directly affected by Coronavirus, please know that we care for you. We would love to pray with you, offer our hand in fellowship, and connect you with a nearby church. If your circumstances have changed due to the impact of the pandemic, we share in your concerns. Do let us know if you need to make updates to your regular giving at this time. We understand and value your support.
