DR Congo farmer training

The Dioecese of Kindu is training farmers to boost their harvests in DR Congo

Last year, the Diocese of Kindu in DR Congo ran a pilot project to train small-scale farmers, supported by Anglican Aid and Openwell Oxford. The project combines learning about growing crops with discipleship training. Forty men and women signed up and committed to weekly farm training and Bible study.

The project was so successful, news spread across the diocese and around 280 people have signed up for training courses that are being rolled out this year in local churches.

Pray:

  • Pray that the project participants will grow in faith and improve their harvests.
